Who is responsible for your data

Trevani is the data fiduciary for the personal data described here. You can reach us at support@trevani.in or by post at Saidulajaib, New Delhi – 110030, India.

Data we collect

• Account details: your name, email address and password (stored only as a secure one-way hash).
• Offer activations: the offer you activated, the time, a unique activation ID and your browser type. This is how stores attribute your purchase to you.
• Cashback records: information stores or their affiliate networks report to us about your order, such as the order reference, order value, date and confirmation status. Stores generally do not share the items you bought.
• Payout details: the UPI ID, or bank account holder name, account number and IFSC you provide when you request a withdrawal. These are encrypted when stored.
• Messages: what you send us through the contact form or by email.
• Technical data: IP address and request details in server logs, used to keep the service secure, and an essential session cookie (see our Cookie Policy).

We do not collect your card details, OTPs, UPI PIN or account passwords, and we will never ask for them.

How we use your data

• To create and run your account and keep it secure.
• To track offer activations, match purchases reported by stores, and show their status in your dashboard.
• To validate cashback with stores and resolve missing-cashback claims.
• To process the withdrawals you request.
• To send service emails, such as email verification, password resets and updates about your cashback and withdrawals.
• To prevent fraud and misuse, and to meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations.

We do not send marketing emails unless you separately agree to receive them.

Legal basis

We process your personal data on the basis of the consent you give when you create an account and use our services, and for legitimate uses permitted by law, such as complying with legal obligations and responding to lawful requests. You can withdraw consent at any time by asking us to close your account; this does not affect processing that happened before.

Who we share data with

• Stores and affiliate networks: we pass your activation ID when you click through to a store so it can report your purchase. We do not give stores your name, email or payout details.
• Banks and payment service providers: your payout details and amount, only to send a withdrawal you requested.
• Service providers: hosting and email providers who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
• Authorities: where required by law, court order or a lawful request from a government agency.

We do not sell or rent your personal data.

How long we keep data

• Account data: while your account is open. After closure we delete or anonymise it, except where we must keep it.
• Cashback and payout records: as long as required by applicable accounting and tax laws (generally up to 8 years).
• Messages: up to 3 years after the matter is resolved.
• Session data: up to 14 days after your last visit.

How we protect data

We use HTTPS encryption for data in transit, store passwords as salted hashes, encrypt payout details at rest, restrict administrative access to authorised staff and protect forms against forged requests. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable security practices and procedures to protect your data, and we will notify you and the authorities of a personal data breach as required by law.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
• correct, complete or update your data — you can update your name and password in your dashboard;
• request erasure of your data, subject to records we are legally required to keep;
• withdraw your consent;
• nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity; and
• have your grievances addressed.

Grievance redressal

If you have a concern about how we handle your personal data, contact our Grievance Officer at support@trevani.in with the subject “Grievance”. We acknowledge grievances within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.

Age requirement

Trevani is meant only for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has created an account, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here with a new “Last updated” date and, for significant changes, notify you by email or in your dashboard.
